  • Rescuers take part in large-scale greening and cleanup efforts across Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan continues its nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan,” with active participation from employees and rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The initiative aims to improve environmental conditions, enhance public spaces, and promote a culture of environmental responsibility, infotabigat.kz reports.

Across all regions of the country, MCHS personnel are engaged in tree planting, sanitation, and landscaping activities. Rescuers, cadets, state inspectors, and employees of territorial departments are cleaning public areas, planting trees, and contributing to the creation of a more comfortable and environmentally friendly living environment.

Special attention has been given to educational institutions within the ministry. At the Malik Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection, cadets and staff planted tree seedlings across the campus and dormitory areas, while also carrying out landscaping and improvement works.

In Astana, employees of the city emergency department planted birch, pine, poplar, elm, and fruit trees. The territory was further enhanced with lilac bushes and perennial flowers. A large-scale cleanup and improvement of the department’s grounds was also carried out.

In East Kazakhstan Region, rescuers together with local residents and community activists participated in the creation of a new ecological park in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The green zone is expected to become a public recreational space for residents and visitors.

In Zhambyl Region, employees of the “Kazselezashchita” branch planted around 100 seedlings of catalpa, ash, elm, and maple trees, contributing to the expansion of green zones and improved air quality.

Mass tree planting activities were also held across all territorial divisions of the Industrial Safety Committee, with each unit greening its assigned areas and supporting the environmental initiative.

In Mangystau Region, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Yerbolat Sadybayev took part in the campaign. He emphasized that the main goal of the initiative is environmental protection, cleanup of territories, and strengthening public involvement in ecological issues.

Employees of the North Kazakhstan Region Emergency Department also joined the campaign by planting trees on designated sites, highlighting the importance of consistent environmental responsibility.

Overall, the campaign demonstrates strong cooperation between the state and society in environmental protection efforts. The “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative continues to serve as a unifying platform for promoting ecological awareness and improving the quality of life across the country.
