Today, Kazakhstan celebrates Ecologist Day.
This professional holiday honours ecologists, environmental advocates, and specialists working to protect the natural world. It was officially established in 2011 by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
5 June also marks World Environment Day, celebrated globally.
