The Eurasian Climate Talks Summer School has officially opened in Astana with support of the German Embassy.
Hosted at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the programme is part of an initiative by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and is supported by the German diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Ambassador Ulrich Kinne and ENU Vice-Rector Duman Aitmagambetov.
Throughout the week, participants will engage in a series of lectures and panel discussions led by prominent experts in climate science, green economy, sustainable development, and environmental policy. According to the German Embassy’s Instagram page, the school offers students the opportunity to delve into pressing climate issues and explore practical solutions for a sustainable future.
